Service
Planning is key so you know exactly what to expect at your event. With the right plan your event will run as smoothly as possible. If necessary we will provide a schedule so that everyone from the caterer to the photographer know what's coming next. Our staff, innovative and professional, will provide you with a unique event and dress to you events style.
Pricing:
General
The prices we quote are inclusive. Prices say "from …" because a number of things can affect the price such as location, set-up time, time of year, day of week, etc.
Travel
To work out the travel expenses, which need to be added to discos base price, we will check the distance from the discos home location (e.g.: Stamford). All of our discos have agreed to a simple travel expense formula which works as follows:
First 25 miles - free
26 to 50 miles - add £65
51 to 75 miles - add £125
76 to 100 miles - add £190
101 to 125 miles - add £250
126 to 150 miles - add £315
over 150 miles - price on application
DJ only bookings (no equipment supplied by the dj) have lower travel charges.
Other things can also affect travel costs, such as congestion charge and parking in central London, so the above is only a rough guide.
Timing
DJ prices for evening performances are normally based on setting up after 6.00 pm and the performance finishing at midnight. Earlier set-up times and later finish times are usually possible but will incur an additional charge.

Nigel Smith started working as a DJ in 1978 and has built up an enviable reputation as one of the best travelling discotheques in the UK and Europe. Nigel is equally at home playing at a wedding, private birthday party, film premiere or corporate event. Whatever the event, and whatever the audience, Nigel is an expert at judging the requirements of the occasion and providing the right music to keep the guests on the dance floor.
Needless to say, Nigel uses only the very best sound systems and lighting rigs and his equipment is always well maintained and updated at regular intervals. He also always carries a host of spares so that should the unforeseen happen the party will continue! Nigel has built up a Music collection to match his reputation, covering all aspects of popular music from early rock'n'roll right through to the latest dance classics where his experience working at some of the more prestigious events has helped him become a 'master of turntables'.

Mobile Disco
Our Mobile Disco units are versatile and can be tailored to suite functions up to any size.
Our highly experienced Disc Jockeys will carry a range of music to cover most tastes. Any specific music requirements can be included as part of the show. Similarly the guests will be welcome to contribute regarding requests, dedications etc.
Nightclub Disco
Stunning New Night club lighting rig suspended above the dance floor to give your event that wow factor (optional extra)
For larger functions or events where that big impression is required our Nightclub Discotheque shows can be expanded to suite any requirements.
Karaoke
Karaoke has long been one of the UK's most popular nights out and Soundchaser Disco's have been providing Karaoke nights since they first hit our shores.
Love it or loathe it, Desire it or despise it... one thing is for sure; Karaoke is with us to stay.
This highly popular leisure activity has been with us now since at least the 1980's. Young and old can take part and it doesn't matter whether you consider yourself to be a great singer or a 'not so great' singer... the whole point of Karaoke is to have fun, relax and enjoy yourself.

The concept is (if you haven't tried it before) that you select a song title from the Karaoke Songbook, fill in the details on a request slip and hand it to your KJ (Karaoke Jocky). When it's your turn, the KJ will announce your name to your supportive audience and that's your cue to take to the stage and sing along to the professionally recorded backing track.. Following the words as they appear in front of you on a TV screen or portable monitor.
